At Diamond Gallery, we uphold a conditional Return Policy to ensure your satisfaction. We are committed to offering a full or partial refund or exchange within 14 days from the date of receiving your order.

1.1 Please review the following conditions to determine eligibility for returns:
  • Original Condition: The item must be in its original condition to qualify for a refund or exchange. Items showing signs of wear-and-tear, resizing, alterations performed by an unauthorized party, or any form of damage will not be eligible for return.
  • Unworn, Tagged Products: We only authorize refunds or exchanges for products returned in new condition, unworn, with the tag remaining intact and unbroken.
  • Custom Orders: Items specifically made to fulfill an order or altered to meet specific requirements are not eligible for return.
  • Certification and Guarantees: All accompanying certification and guarantees must be returned with the item within 14 days of receiving your order to qualify for a refund or exchange. Failure to return these documents will result in a $250 replacement fee per certificate.
  • Transit Damage: Items damaged during transit while being returned will not qualify for a refund or exchange.
  • Special Orders and Modifications: Any special order or order requiring modification will not qualify for a return.
  • Restocking Fee: A restocking fee may be applicable based on the nature of the return.

1.2 Please Choose Carefully.

We value your satisfaction with your purchase from Diamond Gallery. However, please note that we do not normally accept returns or provide refunds solely for changes of mind or incorrect selections. You possess statutory rights to choose between a refund, exchange, or credit in cases where goods are faulty, inaccurately described, differ from a provided sample, or fail to perform their intended function.

Nevertheless, we understand that circumstances may arise where you have a change of mind, and we may consider accepting a return at our sole discretion, subject to the following conditions:

  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide proof of purchase for the item.
  • Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging with all labels included and undamaged. The tag must remain intact and unbroken.
  • Order Value: Orders exceeding AUD $15,000 excluding GST are not eligible for return.
  • Timeline: The item must be returned within 14 days of purchase from Diamond Gallery.
  • Costs: You are responsible for bearing all costs associated with the return, including shipping, insurance, valuations, etc. Additionally, a restocking fee will be charged at 20-50% of the purchase price, determined by Diamond Gallery on a case-by-case basis.
  • Cancellation Fee: If you request to cancel your order before it has been fulfilled or shipped, a cancellation/restocking fee at 20-50% of the purchase price will be charged, to be determined by Diamond Gallery on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve the right at all times to refuse a return or order cancellation for change of mind requests and will not accept such returns if the above conditions are not satisfied. 1.3 Initiating the Return Procedure

To commence the return procedure, kindly contact one of our consultants via email at info@diamondgallery.com.au or by phone at +61 1300 112 751. Please ensure you have your order number readily available before reaching out to us.

1.4 Return Shipping Requirements

Your item must be returned to Diamond Gallery with all original packaging and certification intact. For your peace of mind, we recommend insuring the item during transit, as you are responsible for it until it is delivered to Diamond Gallery. Please ensure your package is fully insured, with a tracking number and proof of delivery. To safeguard your privacy and security, refrain from indicating on the package that it contains jewellery.

1.5 Processing the Refund

Upon receipt of the returned item, our Evaluation Team will thoroughly examine the piece(s) to ensure they meet all the criteria for this offer. If all conditions are met, your refund will be processed within approximately seven business days. All refunds will be processed using the same payment method utilized for the original purchase.

We strongly advise inspecting your item(s) promptly upon arrival and notifying us immediately of any defects or damage via email at info@diamondgallery.com.au. Please note that returned items must be in their original, unworn condition and accompanied by all original documentation.

Important: Ensure your item is shipped fully insured. Avoid including any external markings on your package that may reveal its contents as jewellery to others.

Due to their personalized nature, certain orders are nonreturnable. This includes items that have been modified, engraved, or resized; items that have been previously exchanged; and custom-designed jewellery.

When selecting earrings or stud products, please choose carefully, as we do not accept exchanges or refunds for health and hygiene reasons.

If you have requested a later delivery date, our 14-day return/exchange period will commence on the date your order was initially available to ship. Similarly, if you intend to pick up your order, our 14-day return/exchange period will begin on the date your order is available for pick-up.

To qualify for our refund policy, the centre diamond must fall within our recommended quality range, which includes:
  • Color: D-G
  • Clarity: VS1-SI1
  • Cut: Ideal to Excellent
  • Polish: Excellent (or EX to VG for fancy shapes)
  • Symmetry: Excellent (or EX to VG for fancy shapes)
  • Fluorescence: Nil to Faint
  • This policy does not apply to loose diamonds or any other rings and jewellery that do not feature a centre diamond meeting our specified quality criteria outlined above.
  • The 14-day return policy is exclusively for customers in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Refunds are not applicable to sale and/or discounted items.
  • Multiple Returns/Exchanges: Customers are eligible to utilize our 14-day return and exchange policy once within a 12-month period for one product category.
  • Fancy Coloured Diamonds: All sales of Fancy Coloured Diamonds (Pink, Blue, Yellow) are final, and no exchanges or returns will be accepted due to their unique nature.
  • Men’s Wedding Rings: Returns for men’s wedding rings will not be accepted.
  • Toi Et Moi: Toi Et Moi rings are considered custom designs and fall outside of our 14-day exchange/refund policy. However, they are still covered under our lifetime manufacturing warranty.
  • Comparative Purchasing: To maintain the quality of our products and competitive pricing, we do not allow comparative purchasing. Orders suspected of being comparative may be blocked from shipping or returning.

Our products are covered by guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You have the right to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with our goods. If a failure with the goods does not constitute a major failure, you are entitled to have the issue rectified within a reasonable timeframe. If this is not achieved, you have the right to a refund for the goods and to obtain a refund for any unused portion. Furthermore, you are entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from a failure in the goods.

In addition to the rights granted by the Australian Consumer Law, Diamond Gallery also provides exchanges and refunds as outlined in this Exchange & Refund Policy.

Returning Your Order

Packing Instructions:

For all returns and exchanges, ensure to include all original packaging and accompanying materials, such as the packing slip and all diamond certificates (a $250 replacement fee per certificate will apply otherwise).

For security purposes, refrain from labelling the package with terms like “jewellery,” “diamonds,” or related words. Please reach out to Diamond Gallery for appropriate name and address labelling information.

Shipment and Insurance:

Please contact Diamond Gallery at info@diamondgallery.com.au or 1300 112 751 to arrange the best method for returning your item. This can be done by dropping it off at any of our showroom (please note that the showrooms do not assess returned items at the point of drop-off; they will be forwarded to our Evaluation Team for assessment) or via postal service.

For your protection, if returning by mail, ensure to ship your item fully insured with a required signature, and request a return receipt for confirmation of delivery to Diamond Gallery

Diamond Gallery cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.

Refund Process:

Once we receive the returned order, our Evaluation Team will inspect and verify the condition of the item(s). Returns typically take around seven business days to process upon receipt of the item. Any returns displaying signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized, or damaged in any way will not be accepted for return. Improperly packaged or uninsured items will be declined upon receipt. Diamond Gallery will refund the original purchase amount of the item via the original payment method used in the purchase. For credit card refunds, please allow one monthly billing cycle for the credit to reflect.
