Lab-Grown Diamonds
With advancements in technology and innovation, lab-grown diamonds have become a compelling alternative to mined diamonds, offering ethical, sustainable, and equally beautiful options for your jewellery collection.
What Are Lab-Grown Diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are created in a controlled laboratory environment using advanced technological processes that replicate the natural conditions under which diamonds form in the earth.
These diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds, ensuring you receive a gem of the highest quality and purity.
Why Choose Lab-Grown Diamonds?
Ethical Sourcing: Lab-grown diamonds are a responsible choice. They are conflict-free, ensuring that your purchase does not contribute to unethical practices. At Diamond Gallery, we are committed to providing diamonds that align with your values and ours.
Environmental Sustainability: Our lab-grown diamonds have a significantly lower environmental impact compared to traditional mining. By choosing lab-grown diamonds, you are helping to reduce the ecological footprint and preserve our planet for future generations.
Exceptional Quality: Each lab-grown diamond at Diamond Gallery is meticulously crafted and inspected to meet the highest standards of excellence. These diamonds exhibit the same fire, scintillation, and brilliance as their mined counterparts, offering you a stunning piece of jewellery that will last a lifetime.
Unparalleled Value: By opting for lab-grown diamonds, you can enjoy significant cost savings compared to their natural counterparts, without compromising on quality or beauty. This allows you to invest in a stunning piece of jewellery while staying within your budget.
How Are Lab Grown Diamonds Made?
Lab-grown diamonds are created through advanced technology that replicates the natural diamond formation process.
There are two primary methods:
Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD): In this method, carbon-rich gases are ionised into plasma, allowing carbon atoms to adhere to a seed crystal and gradually form a diamond layer by layer.
High Pressure-High Temperature (HPHT): This method involves subjecting a diamond seed crystal to extreme pressure and temperature conditions, causing carbon atoms to crystallise and form a diamond around the seed.
These processes result in diamonds that are chemically and visually identical to mined diamonds.
Lab-Grown Diamonds vs. Natural Diamonds
Lab-grown diamonds offer an ethical, sustainable, and equally beautiful alternative to natural diamonds.
Appearance: Lab-grown diamonds are indistinguishable from mined diamonds. They possess the same sparkle, clarity, and beauty, making them a perfect choice for any occasion.
Cost: Lab-grown diamonds are generally more affordable than mined diamonds of the same quality. This allows you to choose a larger or higher-quality stone without exceeding your budget.

How To Measure

- Grab a tape measure, length of string or strip of paper.
- Wrap it around the finger you'll wear your ring on—if you’re creating a ring stack, consider where on your finger the ring will sit—and mark the place where it joins.
- Lay your string or paper strip on a flat surface and use a ruler to measure the length up to the mark. Use the chart above to match the measurement to the closest ring size.

- Choose a ring that already fits your finger well.
- Measure the interior diameter of the ring in millimeters (mm).
- Use the measurement chart above to match the size of your ring to the closest size in mm.
